Central Schools serves approximately a thousand students in three buildings. Central Elementary serves grades Pre-Kindergarten to grade 5, Central Middle School serves students in grades 6 to 8 and Central High School serves students in grades 9 to 12.
Central Public Schools is staffed by 70 full and part time certified teachers. Within this group more than 55% of all certified staff possess Master’s Degrees or higher in their field of expertise. These professionals are assisted in their efforts to provide a world class education by paraprofessionals, administrators, special education staff, counselors and other employees including clerical, technology, custodial, food service and operations personnel. You will find a staff proud of the work they do and excited about the opportunity to provide educational opportunities to your children.
If you are moving into the Central School District #108, please call your child’s new school or stop in the office at the appropriate building to register. You may be asked to provide a birth certificate, current immunization records and proof of residence.
If you live outside the school district and would like to apply for open enrollment, an application should be submitted to the district office (located between the Middle School and High School) to receive consideration. If an Individual Education Plan is in place at their current school, this should be noted on the application form. Transportation information is available upon request.
